While direct flights from Taipei and Hong Kong to Ishigaki Island’s international airport have been set up, they are currently suspended. The operations are expected to resume, but international flights are not available at this time. We will update flight schedules as new information becomes available.
Recommended Routes to Ishigaki Island:
Flights to Ishigaki Island (ISG) are recommended from Okinawa’s Naha Airport (OKA) due to its large number of flights. Direct Flights to Ishigaki Island:
Participants from China can take direct flights from Beijing (PEK) and Shanghai (PVG) to Okinawa (OKA). However, since there are only two flights a week from Beijing, you may want to use other airports. Flights from Shanghai to Okinawa are operated daily.
For travel from Korea, there are three direct flights from Seoul (ICN) to Okinawa (OKA). In addition, Eastar Jet has been operating daily flights to Busan and Okinawa since December 2024, but at this time has not announced a summer schedule for 2025.
For travel from Hong Kong, there are four direct flights to Okinawa.
For travel from Taiwan, direct flights to Okinawa (OKA) are available from Taipei (TPE), Taichung (RMQ), and Kaohsiung (KHH).
Direct flights from Bangkok to Okinawa are available from both Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK).
There is a direct flight from Singapore (SIN) to Okinawa (OKA).
There is a direct flight from Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Okinawa (OKA).
Participants from other regions are encouraged to transfer in Tokyo (HND).
From Australia, direct flights from Sydney to Tokyo are convenient.
