Keynote talk title: Top-down de novo sequencing of intact frog skin peptides using tandem mass spectrometry approaches.
Professor Albert Lebedev graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University University in 1979. He obtained his PhD and DSc degrees in the same university in 1982 and 1992 correspondingly. He worked as senior researcher, assistant professor, associate professor and since 2003 as full professor. His research is focused on environmental chemistry, including non-target analysis, identification of transformation products of organic compounds, novel natural peptides, etc. Prof. Albert Lebedev is an author of 10 manuals on different aspects of mass spectrometry and over 200 papers in peer reviewed journals (Scopus). He gave over 200 lectures at various scientific forums and universities all over the world. He supervised the diploma of 28 master students and 16 PhD students. He is a recipient of the Lenin Komsomol prize for the young scientists in 1983 in the USSR, the State award of Russian Federation in Science and Technology in 2007, and the Gold medal of the Russian Society for Mass Spectrometry in 2017. He is a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, board member of the European Association of Chemistry and Environment, member of the American Society for Mass Spectrometry, board member of the International Society for Mass Spectrometry, board member of the Ministry for Agriculture of the Council approving the environmental standards of Russian Federation, and current President of the Russian Society for Mass Spectrometry. Since September 2023 he is a Professor of MSU-BIT University in Shenzhen, China.
