Keynote talk title: Single Cell Multi-omics Mass Spectrometry Analysis: Methods and Applications
Yu Bai is the Boya Distinguished Professor at Peking University, China. She received her B.S. from Jilin University, China (1998) and Ph. D from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences (2004). She received the German Max Planck Society Scholarship and studied as an exchange student at the University of Konstanz, Germany (2002-2004). After her Post-doc training in University of Toronto, Canada, she joined Peking University in early 2008. Her research interest is the development of novel mass spectrometry method and platform for: the accurate measurement of biomarkers in complex bio-samples; the single cell metabolomic/proteomic and multi-omic research; and the omics applications in the mechanism of critical diseases. She has published more than 120 peer-reviewed papers, including Nat. Commun., J. Am. Soc Chem., Angew Chem. Int. Edit., Chem. Sci., Anal. Chem. etc. h-index 38. She was awarded with the National Distinguished Young Scholars of China in 2021. She is on the Early Career Board of Anal. Chem., and the editorial board of the Journal of American Society of Mass Spectrometry, Analytical Bioanalytical Chemistry, Mass Spectrometry Letter, Chemistry Journal of Chinese University etc.
